America is two hundred and twenty eight years old today. Barely an adolescent by the standard of nations. And yet, it has achieved greatness beyond all hope and expectations. It is popular, among a certain segment of society, both here in the United States and abroad, to deride America. To belittle its achievements and demonize both its leaders and its people.
